RIM just announced that their eBay application for BlackBerry is no longer in beta. Alongside that announcement they have also rolled out the application to six more countries: Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. This is on top of its support for North American smartphones.
Features of the app include:
Add to Calendar – Add the end time for listings to the BlackBerry Calendar and set reminders
Daily Deals – View limited time bargains on popular items, where items are often over 50% off the original price and include free shipping
My eBay – Access personal eBay activity including Watched items, Bids, Sales, Saved Searches and Favorite Sellers
Member Messages – Receive and reply to messages and emails sent through My eBay
Payments – PayPal account users can purchase items within the application
Re-List Items – Re-list items for sale when current listing ends with no sale
Sort Search Results by Distance – Sort search results by distance from location (up to 1,200 miles)
You can pick up the app now at www.blackberry.com/ebay. The only caveats are that PayPal purchases only work in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States and Daily Deals are currently only available on Australia, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom and United States versions of the eBay app.

We have seen plenty of OS 6-like themes lately, as more and more devs jump on the clean look and smooth appeal of what we have seen in the blogs. This hit my inbox this morning, and I have to say, it's a solid looking theme. Two versions are available, completely identical except for the fact that one version has the OS6 precision icons and one has a full set of custom icons. The resemblance to most of the OS6 clones stops there though as the developer has taken the function in a completely different direction from what we have seen. Scrolling right slides more icons into view and scrolling down reveals a hidden dock. Clickable banner items have been added, with shortcuts to the standard Manage Connections, Messages, Clock and Calendar all able to be accessed. For touchscreen devices there have been 4 hidden docks incorporated, launched via various "buttons" located on the homescreen. To see the theme in action, you can check out the YouTube video created by the developer at the link below. Available in the CrackBerry App Store for all devices running OS 4.6 and up. PLUS is $1.99 with the "default" icons and EX is $2.99 and includes the custom set.
Contest: We have 100 copies of Default EX and PLUS to give away! Just leave a comment on this post to enter. Contest ends this Sunday at Midnight PDT. Please only leave one comment, multiple entries won't count.
Is there any purple freaks out there? Rest assured that T-Mobile will be getting another purple colored BlackBerry. Our buddy Salomondrin has just posted up some pictures of the unreleased BlackBerry 9300 in Purple. This model will be the direct replacement for the existing Curve 8520, and will sport 3G and “hopefully” BlackBerry 6, the next generation BlackBerry OS. As you can see its got T-Mobile branding, so we will deffantely see it head that way, however we aren’t really sure when it’ll launch. Most likely for back to school season…
I love getting surprised with awesome deals each day from the BBSync Store.
Update: looks like if you didn’t pick up a copy of Tether yesterday you’ve got one more chance. The sale has been extended to all day today, so Happy Canada Day!
I logged on to the site this morning to notice Tether for BlackBerry is our featured app deal of the day. Tether for BlackBerry normally costs $49.95, however today only you can grab a copy at 50% off! This means you get Tether for BlackBerry for $24.97 in the BBSync Store.
Tether is an awesome application that allows you to connect your BlackBerry and PC or Mac computer for wireless internet. With Tether you don’t require any extra features on your account, and can use your existing BlackBerry BIS data plan. It’s extremely fast and well worth the money. Follow the link below to get more details on the app and to grab a copy today.

Well folks, I am pretty impressed with these latest theme submissions from AG Designs & Graphics LLC called Default EX (picture above) & Default PLUS. Taking the default Precision theme, the designer went so much further and improved upon it so much. Even I had no troubles working my way around this theme. Note that the difference between the two versions is that the DefaultPLUS uses the stock icons whereas Default EX uses customized ones.
Features:
“We took the default Precision theme that your BlackBerry came with and added key features like clickable banner items and a hidden today for keyboard devices. We updated the look of the cursors and colors throughout the theme. If that wasn’t enough, we reworked the entire Home Screen. On keyboard devices we added two hidden docks, one accessed by scrolling to the right and one shortcut dock with nine small icons accessed by selecting the hidden button on the bottom of the Home Screen. On the Storm we added a total of four hidden docks, all accessed by two buttons incorporated into the banner. The left button controls the number of icon rows displayed on the Home Screen (up to three) and the right controls a six-icon shortcut dock.”
Now Default EX only costs $2.99 and DefaultPLUS only $1.99, and both are definitely worth every cent! However, I am happy to announce that the good people of AG Designs were kind enough to offer 100 free copies (code works on both theme versions) to our Berryreview Readers. How awesome is that?!!!
So the first 100 of you that race to the store link(s), select your device (and it’s available for a variety of BlackBerry devices), enter coupon code DefaultEXPLUS at checkout will get it for absolutely FREE!! Please thank AG Designs in the comments section if you were one of the lucky ones. All of us at Berryreview would also like to give a BIG THANKS!

The team at DataViz let us know that they are currently running an independence day sale. They have their flagship Documents To Go product on sale for $17.76 which is 64% off the regular price of $49.99. That is an amazing deal if you have been considering picking up the DTG suite.
Salomondrin has taken a few moments to get some snaps of the next generation Curve. This time it was once again, T-Mobile branded but now sporting a lovely shade of purple. No idea if this is a color that T-Mobile will launch with or not but if we had to guess we'd say it's likely to happen. All that said, Salomondrin has noted that he'll be doing a walk through of this device and two others sometime soon so, here's to hoping he's found a magical Storm 3 and we'll all get a look at that.
