Free Pocket BLU App Connects BlackBerry & Blu-Ray Player

There was already one take at connecting a BlackBerry App with Blu-Ray players but that did not really take off. Now we also have Pocket BLU app which is a free app that lets you BlackBerry communicate with your BD-Live Enabled Blu-Ray player. It works over Wi-Fi so you will need a Wi-Fi enabled BlackBerry.

The features in the beta include:
- Remote
- Timeline
- Content (available on high-end BlackBerry devices only)
- Text Entry

- Bold 9700, Bold 9000, Curve 8900, 8820, Curve 8520, Curve 8350i, Curve 8320, Pearl Flip 8220 OS: 4.5, 4.6
- pocket BLU™ enabled Blu-ray™ discs
- BD-Live enabled Blu-ray™ player
- pocket BLU™ enabled device
- Wi-Fi connection
